There's definitely beauty in dressing down. In fact, I think it sometimes tell you more about a person then the dressed up version. Afterall, you need courage to feel good in nothing but your own skin.

Ive been on a new drug for my skin and it's making my skin real dry and red, as if ive been under the sun for extremely long hours. It feel really uncomfortable and I cant help but feel really inconfident. BUT, it's really working to clear up my skin, even though it has only been 2 weeks. So Im hoping like mad that tolerating all this will be worth it.

Anyways, Im finally on holidays and although Ive yet to come up with solid plans for my holidays, it should revolve around movies, working, photoshoots, bake/ cook outs and meeting up with my jc friends.

Im excited!

A few know that Freja Beha is one of the few models that I like and my friend, syaz knows that Tao is my favorite. This editorial from Vogue China is a perfect mix of both. Exuding the masculine and androgyny of Freja, the beauty and style of Tao definitely makes this editorial drool worthy. I swear, when I came upon this editorial on Honestly...wtf, I just stared at it for a substantial amount of time. And then made it my wallpaper. (lol.) Not to mention a immediate purchase of a red lipstick (bad choice). Currently this editorial is unbeatable. Watch this space as I find out more :)

(Bodysuit and sandals: Topshop Skirt: UO Vest: Guess Bandana: Bugis Bracelet: DIY)

A mixture of bodysuits, maxiskirts, denim vest and bandana would be perfect for a rainy day but the day I wore this outfit was so scorching, I think i nearly resorted to wearing my maxi skirt as a dress and dumping everything somewhere else. The bandana was really perfect for zesting an outfit up though.

So sorry for the lack of posting these days. Ive spent every minute trying to complete a tedious assignment that requires classification of fabrics and conducting experiments on them. I really can't wait till the holidays to meet up with all my jc mates and finally just hang out. Not to mention a possible holiday job, although at a not very covetable store.

I know I havent been posting what Ive promised, but good things takes time! :)

(Top: Hong Kong Jeggings: Espirit Shoes: Dad's)

It was one of those days where smiling became a chore and the result having eyes as squashed out thin lines, mouths that don't seem quite right. To spare you and me the agony of trying to figure out whats wrong, I dotted it out! Brilliant aye? (haha, I kid, I kid.)

This was taken in hong kong, where one of the outfits where I brought to look effortlessly chic turn out looks just effortless. I ended cutting the tag of a newly bought top and borrowed a bottom from my mummy. The shoes however were a surprise find from a shoe closet clean out. It seems my dad has got a bunch of shoes he has long forgotten about and I have just gain possession of them. This is my favorite of them all and I love how comfy they have become after I stuck 2 plaster on these 2 areas that hurt me originally. Gross I know, But i have yet to find a better way!

Anyway, how do you like my new hair-do? It seems to be the only way I can keep my hair out of my face without bunning them up -- which isn't an option now since the hair dye has cost me quite a problem of hair loss. The idea of a pixie cut sounds ever so inviting although braiding my hair sounds fun too. Oh the dilemna!

The reading bug bit me the last module and it seems like this habit is anything but waning. It helps that the tiny tidbits of information are so relevant to what im studying now and keeps me interested. Like a mother who has to keep a kid entertained, my bag is always filled with books, ipod, camera and a phone when Im travelling to school. Reading seems to be the only one that seems keep time moving. Well, when im reading at home, this habit is accompanied by a snack and currently, my favorite are these cookie dippers. Soft cookie and crunchy chocolate base, they are definitely a god sent indulgent.

Outfit post coming soon!
