I spent yesterday in the most comfortable outfit consisting of my favorite tank from thescarletroom and my favorite shorts from Topshop, doing the most nonsensical sliding activity which involvied an abandoned piece of wood and plank. I had fun.

To be honest, Im not really keen on dressing up when it's blazing hot outside. It's nothing more than a combo of comfy tank and shorts for me these days because there is really nothing worse than having to pretend you're keeping your cool in the knit shirt. I try to spice things up by choosing basics with a twist and in this case, it's literally with a twist. A loop in the back of my t-shirt helps to keep the look fun and not to mention ventilated.

My holidays has been spent brainstorming, designing, sewing, unpicking for HUSH, the collaboration between Musk and Lumin. What we have come up with, Im proud of it. Spent the past few days putting together the final touches to my first photoshoot as a creative director for a label that is about to launch. Whilst Im excited about it, I've been crazy worried about all the tiny details. The shoot was supposed to take place yesterday but a huge pour of rain thwarted our plans. Since new plans have been made, Im only left to hope that the skies holds back all it has to pour.

The chase

Met up with some friends and one of them handed me a card. The card described me as a girl who chased her dream and how much my decision back in JC had left an impact on her. It brought me back to the days where I struggled with my choice and the journey till who I am now. It must seem like I've got everything and I've already there but it has been difficult and there were plenty of tears. The blog hardly captures any of the sweat, hard work or the reality of how difficult things can actually be but that's the thing isn't it - that you don't give up despite of the hardship. I'm tired, I seem to always be tired but, I'm happy and that's what's important. That said, I'm really still chasing my dreams but the best part is that the tears from a each hurdle really just mean a step closer to my ultimate goal.

AFF outfit

Here's what I wore to AFF. Funny how everything is from Topshop except for the accessories. (Earrings are from Topshop though.) The vest is actually a blouse and I wore it backwards! Spent about 10 hours in those heels and trust me, my feet didn't forgive me until quite a while later!
