It's always a joy to collaborate with others to generate blog content and this collaboration with Tariq is by far the most exciting because it marks the very first episode of The 30 Minutes Breather web series! Also, it's my very first dabble into videos and having psychic powers with Tariq meant that the video turned out exactly as we had envisioned it to be. (I would go into details about our psychic powers but its too freaky.)

I've got to say that I love how The 30 Minutes Breather project has evolved from being a personal goal to oil the creative wheel to something that involves something bigger - collaborations and community. It must have been repeated a million times on this space that I absolutely love a great collaboration and boy is it exciting that this project gives me the opportunity to do so! (Sooooo do drop me an email if you'd like to put forward an idea to work together!)

This particular collaboration is with Tariq Mansor from Deafndope. A production team made of enthusiastic filmmakers from Temasek Polytechnic who admits that they watch way too many movies. In their free time, they get together to make short films of anything that comes to mind which honestly drives me to do more stuff I like whenever I can. I love watching their clips even though I don't like admitting it to Tariq but you gotta give it up to them for the stuff they do! Check them out here: 

I have to say I really liked how it turned out; Tariq did a fantastic job on the cinematography and edit! It definitely wasn't easy directing me especially cause I tend to look into the camera whenever he speaks but boy did he do it well. :)  I already can't wait to show you guys the next feature! We're really just hoping The 30 Minutes Breather eventually becomes part of everyone's routine so that no one ever forgets to take a little break and just have fun.
